critical error during unlocking

Hi,
I am tryimg to unlock my Motorola L7 iTunes phone and everything goes well until the end where I get a
critical error
80
40
message.
Any idea how to fix this?
Anybody else came across this error message?
I am using Windows Vista. Would it fix this problem if I used a Windows XP computer?

Hi Matt,

I'm afraid this means the software cannot unlock your phone.

One other alternative might be unlocking your phone via IMEI. With IMEI unlocking, you send us your phone's IMEI number (To get the IMEI number you need to press*#06# on the handset). We then send you an unlock code, which you input into your phone to unlock it.

If you would like to try IMEI unlocking, please email your phone model, IMEI number, and your phone's current network to sales@cell-unlock.com
