The Motorola MPX220 is Motorola's first quad-band Windows Mobile Smartphone. With a weight of 114g, it is relatively light, and has a compact clamshell design with an internal antenna. The phone comes preloaded with Windows Mobile for Smartphones, 2003 version, and includes 64 MB of shared flash menu, with space for an optional miniSD memory card. The phone also has two color screens, one on the outside of the clamshell, and one inside. The Motorola MPX220 also has a 1 megapixel camera with LED flash, and a number of features such as image options, a self-timer, and mult-shot setup. The MPX220 also has a speakerphone.
The MPX220 was originally released on Cingular, and has only been offered on that network in the US. Once unlocked, the MPX220 can be used on any GSM network in the US.
