The Motorola L6 is very similar to the L2 model, but also boasts a VGA camera and video recording and playback functionalities. It is actually more than 30% thinner than the RAZR, which truly makes it an ultra-thin phone! Like the L2, the L6 will be released at the start of 2006 on a number of different networks.

While the L6 is considered an upgrade from the L2, it is still a mid-range option compared to the SLVR V8 due to be released at the same time. In essence, the L6 is very similar to the V3, except that it does not have the clamshell/flip-phone form factor. However, it is thinner than the RAZR V3, and will offer a middle-of-the road option for customers who want a camera yet can't afford Motorola's higher priced phones, such as the V3i and SLVR V8.

The L2 has been released in India as of November 12th, and will be gradually makings its way across to Europe and the US as networks here adopt the phone. We expect that the phone will be widely available by the end of the first quarter of 2006.
