MotoBlaze "Try Before You Buy" - Windows Vista

Thank you for your interest in unlocking your phone with Cell-Unlock.com. The MotoBaze software is an easy-to-use client for unlocking Motorola phones. By logging into our software with a test account you can you try out the client and check your phone's compatibility with our software.

Please read and follow these instructions carefully.

Before installing our software, please make sure that your phone is disconnected.

1 - Download and Install Software

Use the link below to download the software. Use the "Run" button to load the application immediately.

The auto-installer will guide you through the installation process. When prompted which components to install, select all the options except the "USB P2K drivers (auto)"

Your computer may need to be restarted before you can continue with the unlocking page. Bookmark this page so that you can retun to it after the restart.

2 - Connect your phone

Turn on your Motorola cell phone, and connect your phone by USB cable. Windows Vista should automatically detect your phone and install the drivers.

If Windows opens any "Found New Hardware" wizard, select "Locate and install driver software (recommended)". On the next screen, select "I don't have the disc. Show me other options." and then "Browse my computer for driver software (advanced)." Finally use the "Browse..." feature to locate C:\MotoBlaze\ and press next, then select "Always trust software" and select "Install". You may be prompted with various "Found New Hardware" wizards during the unlock process - each time follow the above instructions to complete the wizard before continuing with the unlock process.

3 - Run the software

Use the link on your desktop or in the Start menu to run the MotoBlaze software.

The application should open looking like this:

Follow the instructions in the software to connect to the server with the password "test". After driver installation is complete you can use the "Check Compatibility" feature to test for compatibility with your phone's firmware. Complete any "Found New Hardware" wizards as described above.

If you are prompted by the Windows Firewall or any other firewall programs, please use the "Unblock" option to allow the server to connect to the server.

Software Installation

The software installer has been thoroughly tested and is issue-free. Any problems with the installation of our software are usually computer-specific, and can easily be fixed by using a different computer. Driver Installation and Interface Errors

The Motorola USB drivers can sometimes be temperemental. Most issues can be solved by disconnecting your phone and restarting your computer. Plug your phone into a different USB Port than the one you previously used, and follow the instructions from Step 2 onwards.

Compatibility Check Problems

Some very new phones and firmwares may be unsupported by the MotoBlaze software. The software is constantly updated and we are constantly working to add support for the latest firmwares. If our software is uncompatible with your phone at this time, you can contact us to ask about expected updates and to request a refund.
